Here’s a few pictures of Kelly we got during the pregnancy. Here’s what she looked like on Valentine’s Day (week 20): This one is from last weekend (May 27th - week 35) and is taken in our nursery:

Third Trimester!

Things are moving right along! It’s hard to believe we only have about 7 weeks left until we welcome a new member of the family. Emil and I have been busy in the last several months finishing the nursery and attending birthing classes. Here’s a recap! April and May have been big growth months for the baby. I’m definately looking pregnant now! The baby has been pretty active, mostly kicking my right ribcage and hitting my left lower side area.

October 21st, 2005 - We find out we are pregnant! December 2nd, 2005 - First Doctor’s Appointment December 16th, 2005 - Our First Ultrasound December 30th, 2005 - Second Doctor’s Appointment January 21st, 2006 - Kelly feels the baby move for the first time! January 26th, 2006 - Third Doctor’s Appointment February 7th, 2006 - Emil feels the baby move for the first time! February 10th, 2006 - Second Ultrasound March 10th, 2006 - Fourth Doctor’s Appointment April 6th, 2006 - Glucose Test April 21st, 2006 - Sixth Doctor’s Appointment May 5th, 2006 - Seventh Doctor’s Appointment

Pictures from the second ultrasound

Here are the scanned ultrasound pictures from our second ultrasound. Everything measures great, and according to the measurements are due date is 7/2/2006 +/- 1 week. That’s pretty much the same as our original due date of 6/30. In this first picture the baby is making a fist. You can see the four fingers directly in the middle of the picture (think of what a fist looks like if someone were going to punch you (hmm…maybe the baby’s mad :-) ).

First Ultrasound

Here are some pictures from our first ultrasound! This was so exciting because not only was it the first time we saw the baby, but it was the first time we heard the heartbeat (155 beats per minute). This ultrasound is pretty short, only about 10 minutes, but we got some great pictures. Here in the first one you can see the baby’s profile. Emil and I both love this picture!
